How German is America?

(Ich) was personally shocked by the clear influences of (Deutsche) immigrants on our collective (Amerikan) culture. The midwest has been my home for (zwolf) (jahre) (und) looking back it should have been obvious that (Deutsche) immigrants influenced my food, language, (und) activities. The various (nationalitaten) that have left their mark on (Amerikan) culture are obviously numerous (und) important, but the article revealed the (Deutsch) (und) (Amerika) relationship to be strikingly pivotal in every (Amerikaner's) life. Whether it was film with Bambi, food with brats (und) pretzels, education with (kindergarten), or language with terms like (uber), (Deutsche) influence was front (und) center. (Ich) honestly have a greater respect for the accomplishments and culture of the early immigrants from (Deutschland) after reading this exciting article. The author believed that (Deutsche) culture would no longer be recognized or preserved with the blending of the (Lender) values (und) accompplishments, but I feel conversely that if (personen) were merely educated on the topics the article rehashed, that a revival of (Deutsche) traditions and pride could manifest in (Amerika). Revivals of culture have taken place amongst the Jews, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh. Why could a similar revival not take place amongst (Deutsche) (Amerikaner's)? Overall the article was a fun read, and perked my interest in preserving cultural traditions in (Amerika) for all (nationalitaten) of immigrants.
