Traditional German Lederhosen

Hallo,

Lederhosen's are leather shorts associated with bavarian region of germany. In some communities lederhosen's are used on a daily basis, but now a days they only really appear at cultural festivals such as Oktoberfest. For this AMD assignment I chose to read this article: http://www.destination-munich.com/traditional-german-lederhosen.html. It was about how the history of the traditional German Lederhosen. The article explained that the original versions first came about in the 1700's and then fell out of fashion in 1800's. In the late 1800's, Joseph Vogel led a protest against the decline of Lederhosen's. The article then concluded with showing the different styles of lederhosen and other accesories. Overall the article gave me good insight into the history of the German Lederhosen.
