Bauer sucht Frau translates to Farmer seeks Wife.

As you can tell, it's kind of a weird German reality show that is somewhat popular in German speaking countries. The show is pretty hard to understand since we (those of us in 101) don't know too much German to really comprehend exactly what is happening, and we're also in the dark about the context of the show since we are not regulars.

From what I gather, this is some sort of a chronicle of this guy Fritz, who is some sort of farmer in the countryside (as exampled by the video from 1:55-3:11) surrounded by forest. Which is why he's called the "Waldgeist" or ForestSpirit (Wald=forest, Geist=Spirit). He's looking for a wife or a girlfriend or something, and actually wears lederhosen (I thought these were mythological clothing worn in the old days, something like togas).

It was quite an interesting video, and I've watched a few other videos of it on YouTube, but this one by far is the weirdest by just not knowing what is going on in.

He builds a wall in the middle of his bed, he goes out in the field and works while listening to the radio in his car, and then sows his pants. Kind of random. Fritz ist stich. (=Fritz is random)
