Kultur 3: Germans and Beer

It was interesting to read about the relationship between the cultural and negative aspects of beer. The articles highlighted the fact that beer and drinking unifies germans. It is a common interest that brings together communities. The negative ramifications of beer however diminish the benefits of a common interest. A major problem in germany has been that public drinking causes unneccesary disturbances. I think that everything needs to have a balance. Germans should strive to uphold their strong culture as well as create an environment suitable for all. It s funny how germans believe in eating well and being healthy, yet they drink unhealthy amounts of beer.
