i found these articles pretty interesting and very informative on german culture. i particularly liked the article on banning public drinking in germany. since its illegal in america, i never really thought of banning public intoxication as that big of an issue. however since drinking is so much more a part of theyre everyday life, i can see how some residents find this to be a huge problem. i agree with the conclusion of the article, that law abiding citizens definitely should have the right to drink in public politely without bothering or harming people around them while the obnoxious rowdy ones should get a fine. i also found the article on german fast food creative and extremely helpful to someone visiting germany. the authors seem to be well informed on both german and american eating habits and know how to explain the different types of german fast food and what americans would like and wouldnt like, as well as how to avoid looking like a dumb american. i would definitely read more of their articles if i ever get to go on a trip to germany.
