After reading the articles, there are similarities and differences our culture and German culture. Firstly, Americans love their cars. We would never see business executives riding bikes or soccer moms riding with their children on a bike.  Also, there are no bike paths in American cities. Well actually, there are bike paths, but they are few and far between. One commonality is that people get caught for not paying fares to ride the public transportation. One more commonality is that cars have to stop for pedestrians. If they dont, they will be in trouble with the law.
